Am I the only one??? (bad mommy to be)

I have NOT done the following:

Pre-register for the Hospital
Hospital Tour
Taken any birthing classes of any type
Bought my car seat, much less install it
Begun the search for a pediatrician
Even thought about a hospital bag

I have about one drawer loosely filled with clothes (assuming I’d wash them sooner or later) and still haven’t cleared out that room’s closet!

How bad am I?

I just keep putting stuff off.
HOPEFULLY we're gonna look at travel systems this weekend. been saying that for two weeks though.

ETA: oh and I'm 35w4d or like LB says 32days away!

Are you sure you're not already pre-registered for the hospital? My dr had me fill out the paperwork for that at my first appt. Maye you did too and you just don't recall....?

I'm the opposite extreme.... I feel compelled to methodically plan things.. if I delay, I become anxious and neuroritic (translate that into 'total b!itch').

so, to keep the peace in our home , we have done everything you mentioned already except for installing the carseat base and packing the hospital bag (which is scheduled to be done this weekend....)

I should add that all of these things were done embarassingly ahead of time... due to my personality 'deficits'.

the one thing I keep delaying and must submit next week is the maternity leave paperwork for work... more forms! ugh!!!

When I was preggo w/Hayley I was super organized and then she decided she wanted to arrive at 35 weeks and I wasn't really ready (as I had only had my shower the day before she was born)

This time I am so lazy and unprepared...DD#2 will be here on 9/5 and I still haven't moved Hayley into her new room so I can set up the nursery
