ack! edema
On approx wed, I started retaining water.... By friday, I realized I cannot wear normal (closed toe) shoes... I can only wear certain sandals 
My swelling is getting out of control now. there's a little in my hands, but my feet and ankles look 
I'm thinking that I possibly should be drinking more water... so I'm doing an experiment and drinking an extra 1-1.5 liters every day..... I'm also going to use the cream and massage my feet and elevate them at night....
if you have swelling, did you have as sudden of an onset? It literally was in the matter of a few days! do you have a home remedy that improves the situation?

NOTHING WORKS! I have had this for a while but over the weekend it has gotten horrible! I have tried drinking more water, I have tried putting my feet up more, DH massaged my feet. Nothing works!!!! Sorry :(

sigh...... that stinks.... well, I'll still try the elevation and water drinking.... but I won't expect too much improvement

My swelling only started slightly this last month (my ninth). It has been somewhat sudden. I only realized how bad it had gotten last week when I tried to wear a high-heeled dressy sandal. DH and I were late to our dinner with friends because I could not stop sobbing.
My feet look like the result if Fred Flinstone and Frodo somehow mated. (ok, without the hobbit hair)
FYI, I drink loads and loads of water.

Be careful and make sure that your BP is not going up along with the swelling.

yeah, I'm about a month behind you, so I guess I'm right on time 
I will say that I've been sitting here with my legs elevated for over an hour now, and I can actually feel that my circulation is better in this position....
if it's not improving right now, it at least isn't getting worse.....

mine just started to get really bad over the past week. my feet hurt and my hands are so swollen that it hurts to make a fist..
