For those who did the 3D/4D sono
At what week did you go? I was just wondering when is the earliest you can go.

They reccommend going between 24 - 34 weeks but say that excellent photos can also be taken from weeks 16 - 38.
I am going in 10 days, I'll be 30 weeks.

Is your insurance paying for it?

I went at 29 weeks and got some amazing pictures! The trick is to be very well hydrated so drink water until it comes out of your nose for a week before. I went to Impact tenologies in East Meadow. Insurance did not pay for it, I paid $175 ~ it was worth every single penny!

I went at 29 weeks the first time, but  didn't want to cooperate so we went back at 31 weeks. DH and I were amazed to see how much she had grown and "chubbed up" during those two weeks. It was a lot of fun and we got some great pics!

Exactly what they told me... and to drink a big glass of orange juice 30 mins. prior. I am also paying $175 at impact.. gold package.
