Now what do I do?.....

So now that I found out I am pregnant, what do I do?
Do I call the doctor first?
I am already taking a multi vitamin, extra calcuim and extra folic acid. While TTC my dr. told me this was fine since I was getting what I needed. She would switch me when I get pregnant.

Yep, make an appt w/ the dr. Depending on the practice, they may not want to see you until your at least 8 weeks. The vitamins are good, and the dr will give you something else if they feel they need to. Congratulations and welcome!!

As soon as I found out I called and made an appt. and my dr. did not wait until 8 weeks

i know a lot of women have said this but I wouldnt really like that and dont know why drs. do that

The only thing I would say is when you make an appointment, ask the office if they can give you samples of Pre-Natals. Then at least you can start testing them out before you go back to the doctor. Then you will know which one you will want to take. The vitamins you are taking now are fine. I just thought it would be easier to take one pill, instead of three.
