Amnio advice?

I'm waiting on the results of my quad screen to come back. Depending on what they are, I might need to get an amnio toward the end of this week. (They were'nt able to do the ultrascreen due to miscalculating my due date ).

Does anyone have any advice on what I should do to prepare myself just in case?

Don't eat before the amnio. The baby will be calmer and not move as much. It made me feel a bit better knowing DS was not swimming around the needle.
