Re: My delicate flower of a cat...
My cat did this to point where her belly and the inside of her hind legs were furless. It's stress related (although my cat definately also suffers from OCD). I took her to the vet, they gave her a shot of cortizone, and a type of anti depressent (I just had to rub it on the inside of her ear each day). The vet also indicated that it could be she was craving more attention... my cat is an attention wh*re, but this also started happening when there were major life changes going on around here. Got married, moved into a house from an apartment, and there was another person then in the picture viying for my attention. So, I made my husband start paying more attention to her, and eventually she stopped.
