wanna hear about a dh who doesn't think?
i'm scheduled to have a c-section on 8/6.. no way to get around it, this baby is 8lbs 9oz and GROWING.. she is not gonna turn, she's breech that's all there is to it.. August 6th at 12:30 I am scheduled for surgery.. maybe a little early on that day, maybe a little later.. but ON that particular day..
so what does dh do?
He goes to the dermatologist today and schedules HIMSELF for laser surgery on...........
wait for it.....
wait for it..........
AUGUST FREAKING SEVENTH!!!!
uh dude.. do ya think ya might be a little busy on the 7th???????

Actually it might be a good day for it -- you'll have lots of help at the hospital... better than waiting until you are home with the baby.

sadly ladies, i spoke to him about it this morning (i was to amazed and shocked at the idea to bring it up last night) and he was pretty oblivious to the issue with it..
he said he'd change it if i really really REALLY want him to. (which translates into, please don't make me) but he didn't think it'd be a problem because it's not like i'd be a lone.. i'd have all those nurses and doctors around.. and.. if I wanted, he'd send his mom to come keep me company.. (oh yes.. please send my mother in law to my hospital room the day after I have a c-section.. that'd be just GRAND!!!)

Maybe you need to call and change the appointment for him. MIL is not a good replacement for your hubby.
