Shower help please.
My shower is supposed to be on August 16th, a Saturday. Invites have just gone out, and it turns out that about 5 good friends, along with my MIL and aunt won't be able to make it. They all suggested we change it to the 17th, Sunday. It is at my house, so changing the date isn't a big deal, but do you think it would be tacky for my Mom to call everyone and tell them the date is changed? I don't know what to do!

I don't think it would be tacky for your mom to call and change the date. I'd just do it like tomorrow!

I dont think thats tacky..I would def. have her call everybody especially now before they start to call to rsvp..The sooner the better..

Holy crap if I hadn't checked with my MIL about the date before sending out the invites I'd be half way to Mexico right now. 
But seriously it's important that those closest to you are there. If you can change it you should try too but have your Mom do it ASAP

I don't thinkits tacky. If you really want those people at your shower I guess you'll have to accomodate them!
