I get another crack at this
Day 2 bloods tomorrow. I hope and pray that the acupuncture, the wheatgrass, the no smoking, the organic fruits, veggies and meats and all the other stuff make my FSH lower.
I need low FSH vibes.
Should we have a contest to pick the number?

I was thinking that I would go from the train in the am and then go right to work from there.
I could get there at 8:30 and be first!!
then go to work. It's probably better than telling my boss I have to go out for an hour.

Just keep in mind that Cornell gives you 2 numbers...lower and higher..they use a different scale than any other labs....so don't be alarmed...

Cornell uses a different scale (can't remember which one is DPC and which one is RIA??), but in any case, a 20 is not the same as a 20 on the scale we are used to. Ask for a copy of your results where they show the conversion. My guess is that 20 is closer to 15 or so on the scale we are used to. FSH fluctuates from month to month and I feel fairly certain that many of us would get a high result if we kept testing.
Dr. Davis wants a 20 or less, but will work with higher. I don't know why the nurses don't take the time to explain the fsh test?!
ps...I did hear that they only use one number now so when they call you with results just ask...
