Worried
I'm 5 weeks 4 days today and this morning I had a really bad cramp that actually made me light headed. I went to the bathroom and there wasn't any blood. Should I be concerned? I am freakin out.

no blood is a good sign, I would not worry...you are going to feel all sorts of cramps and pains during prgnancy

Without bleeding I don't think you need to worry. There will be plenty of pains, cramps, and stretching feelings to come. But if you spot or anything or if it happens again I'd call the dr. You just don't want to risk having an ectopic.

Cramping happens to so many of us in the first trimester. It is a good sign that there wasn't any blood. Drink lots of water!!

don't worry, no blood is a good sign! I would only get concerned if you saw red blood

My first dr.'s apt. isn't until next Monday. If it happens again I am going to call them. Thanks ladies. I'm just a nervous wreck about everything!

try not to worry. I remember having such bad cramps it woke my up in the beginning. Make sure you are drinking lots of water like the pp said and take it easy!

At the very beginning, I had some really horrible cramps. They were on my side and I was convinced I had an ectopic pregnancy or that something else was wrong. Everything was fine. Cramps are normal throughout the first trimester. I still get cramps from time to time.

I didn't mean to scare you. I was just sharing the crazy thoughts that ran through my head. I had no idea what to expect in terms of cramping so when I had cramping on my side, I was worried. A majority of my cramps have actually been on my side. It's so hard to worry. Even now, I sometimes owrry when I feel cramps, but they're a normal part of pregnancy. Everything needs to stretch and grow. I'm sure everything is fine.
