Very little movement

I am 33w2d and I almost went to L&D today because of very little movement. I know it decreases but this is scary. Am I destined to worry the rest of the time again like before I used to feel her all day long. Chat Icon

Re: Very little movement

I'm 30 weeks and noticed that some days are quieter than others....... I don't think I ever noticed a day completely w/o movement though

so the juice / sweets trick didn't work for you? I usually feel movement after a meal... If it's quiet, I tap my belly and try to rouse Scone.

Pregnancy is so stressful sometimes...I hope you don't experience that again Chat Icon

Well, I felt her normal at 1:30 then nothing for a while so I tried ice water, an ice pop, chocolate cake, and tapping the belly with very little response. Finally around 6:00 she seemed to wake up and move around a little bit. Now she's quiet again. Chat Icon

Re: Very little movement

ugh...... that sounds frustrating.....

I guess all you can do is keep tabs on it and try to excite her if she's quiet for too long Chat Icon

Re: Very little movement

I have been feeling the same way. Chat Icon has his sleepy days and his crazy days. I find he seems to move the most at night now.

Re: Very little movement

hmmm...Chat Icon has def been not as active, however I'm not getting kicks and punches anymore...its more like rolling.
Things are starting to get tight in there I guess.

Did you call the dr? I have an appt tomorrow, I will ask her as well what kind of movements we should be expecting.

Re: Very little movement

usually if i change positions and kind of like hunch over in a chair or seat Chat Icon will start kicking. But my Dr said the movement should decrease around this time but i should still feel the baby moving around pretty regularly.

I feel DC the most when I recline on my my couch, try that. for some reason juice and soda doesn't work for me, I either eat strawberries, or yogurt and he goes nutty over them .

Re: Very little movement

I totally understand. It's so fustrating. Some days Chat Icon is wiggling like he's got a party going on in there and some days he is very quiet.

Around this time their space gets a little bit more tighter so the movements are not as frequent. It still is fustrating. I tend to find myself eating a lot more chocolate Chat Icon

I have a doctors appt tomorrow.
