what happens at the first vist with ob after RE

Hey girls! i have been officially graduated to my regular ob starting july 25th will be my first appt. I will be 10.5 weeks. I am seeing Dr. Haunauer... any ideas what will take place?

At my first OB exam after an RE, we did an internal and external sonogram. We also calculated a more precise due date.

Prepare that you will NOT be monitored as often as you were at your RE's office. It DOES take some getting used to, but you will eventually get used to it.

thanks.. this is actually biggest fear and reason for being in tears. After my MC i am very nervous and seeing the RE often really helped in keeping me calm. I know Dr. Haunauer said that if i am really that anxious i could go in weekly but i dont know if she was searious or just trying to make me feel better during the MC process

I was in tears when I left my RE too. You may need to wean yourself off of the need to be monitored. Maybe instead of once a week, go once every 2 weeks and try not to NEED a sonogram when you go. I dont mean that from a safety perspective, but maybe from one of sanity. Ive been there
