I hate going for monitoring and not having..
a personable doctor  The doctor I had today (male) was just so blah and no bedside manner...he said he saw "9 on the right and 6 on the left" (I have PCOS). So I was asking if that meant I had anything growing at the moment and he literally was walking out the door with the med. asst. and he was like No nothing there......I asked if that was normal and he said yes it's normal...and shut the door. I don't know, I mean I am paying $thousands for IVF do you think you can maybe not leave the room and take 1 minute to answer my question!!!

Sorry- I hate it when they rush you and when they don't tell you anything! Lately my DH has been the one writing all of my follie measurements down for the NP, so he writes them in our notebook and she copies them- this way I have them too  It's annoying when they don't say anything though- I would complain and ask that a note be left in your chart stating that you have PCOS and you're worried about OHSS (whether you are or not  ) and that you would like to be told ALL measurements!

Oh, and if you really want to know, ask your nurse when she calls! My nurse was great and would tell me (because I asked) how many follies at what sizes on each side. I also always asked for my Estrogen and Progesterone levels. Gave me an idea also how close to trigger I was.

I hate when doctors do that....
once I asked a doctor (male doctor) how many I had he answered "more than me" and laughed....it wasnt funny....I stopped the nurse and asked her for the details (to see my chart).....

Yes I go to Garden City office and see Dr. flisser, and his nurse Laura.
I think they are great and I am very happy with them. Laura is the only nurse there and she knows everything and Dr. Flisser takes his time and tells me in detail what he sees on the ultrasounds each and everytime. Is this the same doc that you are talking about I would find that hard to belive.

So, how are your follies looking? I know you only started stimming this week, but I hope there's a little bit of activity there!
I told you my contact dr. there, has absolutely NO bedside manner, but I love him anyway. All the docs there know their stuff but Dr. B is SHARP and brilliant IMO.

Well I am glad to hear that Dr.Flisser is in the satilite office for RMAofNY they are the best if I must say so myself

They are looking "good" Dr. F said  9 on the right and 6 on the left (there goes the PCOS for ya). But he said he doesn't see anything growing yet...I have an appt tomorrow and the nurse said I should def. have growth by then. I do feel some "action" going on down there
