Why do people...

1st~ I am getting the nursary and my bathroom redone. I told my darn contractor that I wanted everything done by the end of this month. It is not even close to done with 2 weeks left, and he only comes "when he can" (which is about once a week) because he is giving me a price break ( he is a family friend). We asked him to do the job in MAY!!! I don't think the end of July is unreasonable. $6k later and all I have to show for it is two ripped apart rooms~ and now I can't get him on the phone for 3 days!
2nd~ My sister is getting married on 10/4 (I am due 9/25 ) and I am her MOH. We are having her bachelorette party in August because she insist I be there. I faxed the price fixed menu contract over to the restaraunt, with my credit card info 3 days ago. I have since sent her 3 e-mails asking her to confirm reciept. No response. I finally get her on the phone today, and she says she never got a message from me! I said, "I sent you three e-mails" she said, "oh, I got those" I said, "It would have been nice if you responded to one so I knew" What is her response? "Well it also would be nice if you sent me a credit card that actually worked, so you don't waste my time" How the heck was I supposed to know it didn't go through if she didn't tell me?
I just have so much to do and either people are getting in my way of getting it done, or giving me sh!t when I try to. It is not what this preggo needs right now! Thanks for letting me vent, it really helped (as did the chocolate ice cream I am now wolfing down)
