I can't stand STUPID comments!!!
DH and I went to dinner at my parent's house for my mom's birthday. Somehow breast feeding came up (don't ask how  ). I mentioned that my SIL usually pumps in my nephews room and feeds him from a bottle in public. My uncle turns to me and says "well she should. Women shouldn't be breast feeding in public."
I know this has been a hot topic on here, but honestly, I feel that if a woman needs to feed her baby, and she is covered up, then there is NOTHING wrong.
I just can't stand stupd comments

People are such morons, not every woman can pump, I am hoping to be able to, but none of my sisters, nor my mother were able to pump - so I'm not counting on it.
If I'm out in public and my child is hungry, I will BF, I will cover myself up, but I will not make my child suffer for the comfort of some moron who doesn't understand the purpose of a breast.

If people can eat in public, why can't babies? Women should be able to breastfeed wherever, whenever. IMO.

I BF my first DD and plan to BF this one. I never felt comfortable doing it in public, but it never bothered me if other women did.
I don't understand why people have such a hard time with it. Comments like that are attaching such a negative connotation to the female body and BF, it makes me sad. And the saddest part is, that is probably why I feel uncomfortable doing it in public - because of comments like that!
