Anyone else obsessed with ice??
This child LOVES anything cold!! I could sit and chew on ice all dy and be totally satisfied. Slurpees, fruit coolatas from DD...so strange!! Anyone else have these cravings

with my dd i was obsessed with ice.. loved it.. by the end of my pregnancy i bought those ice pop shapers and started making my own ices. Yesterday i found myself starting to crave again. Gotta start making my ices again.

please get tested for an iron deficiency! my hs math teacher was always crunching away on ice when she was pg and casually mentioned something to her dr at the end of her pregnancy, and apparently that's a sign that you are anemic!
her baby was healthy and fine, but you might need iron supplements! at least mention it to your dr

When I was PG I LOVED eating ice! I would make DH stop and get me a cup of ice whenever we were out!! I guess it was a cheap craving!!

With my last pregnancy and this pregnancy I LOVE drinking water and iced tea with a lot of ice. I often find myself craving for something cold. Actually during the first trimester with both my pregnancies I could not drink water without ice.

DEFINITELY anemia!!! Apparently, this is a telltale sign!!!
I have joked on the board about my craving for frozen milk, and how much I love to chew and crunch on the ice! I mentioned this in passing to a friend who is a dermatologist, and she yelled at me to call my OB immediately! I rang him, and his nurse said my file was already on his desk, that he was about to call me! My latest labs had come in, and I am severely anemic! (I had been feeling like I have had flu for weeks now, but dismissed it has pregnancy fatigue!)
I am now on a serious iron regimen, and the doctor said I should feel better in a month..... so essentially I have the rest of my pregnancy to feel like sh*t!
