If you're not a frequent on the Pets board, I'll make a long story EXTREMELY short:
We found an adorable stray, and started feeding her. We eventually realized she was pregnant, and decided to take her in. We took her to the vet for shots and so forth. She is such a sweetheart. Our plan is to have her spayed as soon as the kittens are weaned, and then keep her because we've totally fallen in love with her!
We gave her a safe place to have her kittens, and they finally arrived on Monday...SEVEN of them!
