Has anyone painted their nursery purple?
If so, do you have any pics or paint recommendation? I am trying to decide on a paint color either light purple or maybe even a little darker?
Thanks :)

If I was having a girl I totally would! Its my favorite color. IF DH didn't stop me every room in the house would be purple or green :)

Re: Has anyone painted their nursery purple?
We just bought paint today. I would like to offer a suggestion.
If you have your bedding in your possession, bring it with you to the paint store (or whereever you get it). Regardless of the color you chose, there will be multiple casts of the same color. If you can get samples or sample cards, take a look at the color at different times of the day at home before you make your final purchase. We would have made a huge error had we not done this.
We picked a light pink. Had we not brought the bedding with us and brought it back home, we would have picked a color that was an orange cast rather than a rosey or purple-ish and the room would look horrific with the decor that we picked out. I assure you that the paint is a lot cheaper than most bedding.

We did purple in our DD's room. There are pics in my album. We matched the colors from a wall switch plate that went with the bedding set. It looks really nice.
