dog?
ok my cocker spaniel is obsessed with this skuzzy squeezy ball. it is NASTY! so nasty that it won't wash clean.
well my 14 month old wants to play with this ball so bad even though we try to hide it or say no a million times.
i've tried to replace the ball with the exact same one but my dog will NOT play with it. when i say ball he runs around to get the one i hid. or when i throw the new ball he runs to get it and when he realizes it's not the nasty ball he just drops it and walks away.
so this is really a dog question i guess... how do i get my dog to except the clean ball?

I agree. We have to do the same with our dog. We put the scuzzy toy and rawhide bones away when DD is up and playing.

 Isn't she asking how to get the dog to give up the old toy and use the new one?
If so, and I am not missing something.....I would just chuck the scuzzy toy altogether.....our dog loves to get new toys, and I also wash them all the time to keep them fresh....I even sew them back together.....

It's always a sad day but when they're too gross we throw them away and replace them with new different ones.
