Suffolk OBGYN
I have my 1st appt tomorrow and I am so excited But so sad to hear that my favorite and regular doctor Dr.Edwards no longer does pregnancies!!  I LOVE him and now I'm seeing a dr that I have no clue who they are. I hope I like them!

Who is the new doctor you'll see? You'll probably see a lot of the doctors, they want you to see everyone if you can, so that you are comfortable with them when you go into labor.

I haven't seen that doctor yet...but we do like Dr. Petraco or Dr. Lograno if you get to see him.

Thats the doctor I was gonna say to stay away from too..Hes the reason I left that group my husband wanted to write a letter about him to the medical board he was the worst doctor Ive seen in my life.
I like doctor Edwards as well too bad he isnt delivering anymore...

Dr. Strittmatter is WONDERFUL! I saw him once a week for 5 months of my pregnancy. He NEVER rushed us, answered all of our questions, even drew diagrams so we fully understood everthing. He also called me personally with all of my test results, never had a nurse call me. I am sad about Dr. Edwards also. I liked him too. There is only one doctor there that I didn't care for. The rest I have seen and liked them all.

Out of those doctors these are the one's i've seen:
Dr. Douglas S. Lee -He did a follow up appointment with us once, he was nice to us, but my MIL sees him regularly, so he knew who we were.
Dr. John G. Petraco -I have seen him a couple of times, nice, my mom doesn't like him BC he is the one that had to give us bad news the first time.
Dr. Jennifer D. Marshak-I've spoken to her on the phone, after our 2nd scare (when we got bad results for Trisomy 18), she called me from her cell phone, so I just redialed that number. She 'scolded' me that I wasn't supposed to use that number. Well, then don't call me from it. She kept emphasizing that our baby now probably wasn't 'viable' even though we hadn't had any other testing. I will avoid her if I can.
Dr. Paul L. Lograno-Love him!!! Very down to earth, we hope he delivers our baby.
Dr. Amy R. Richter-Saw her a couple of times, like her a lot.
Dorothy Kozlowski -- RN-Saw briefly at a weight check appt.
Carol Bonura -- RNC-Like her a lot, she joked around with us, i've seen her a couple of times now.

I have been seeing Dr. Strittmatter for about 4/5 years now and I LOVE him. He is wonderful! But, when you are pregnant they have you see all the doctors because any of them can be on call when you go into labor. I have had nothing but good experiences with them! Good luck! I've heard Strimatter is really good although I have not personally seen him myself yet. I really, really LOVE Petraco which surprises me because I have NEVER gone to a male OB/GYN before but he's wonderful. I am actually considering making him my primary GYN after the baby is born.

I love Dr. Strittmatter...he is definitely my favorite doctor there...Dr. Petraco delivered my daughter and I saw him a lot my first pregnancy so he is high on my list also...I never thought I would choose a male doctor, but I haven't found many of the female doctors there to be much to rave about, though I am giving one another try next visit...I found Dr. Sterlacci to be my least favorite (not at all understanding or compassionate)

Who me I had a problem with Dr.lee and my husband wanted to write a letter about Dr.Lee to the medical board or something to have a complaint against him...I told him not to bother my son was born and safe and thats all I cared about at that point so I left the group.

I  Dr. Giammarino, but he's semi-retired. He hasn't delivered babies in a while. The insurance gets way too high once you reach a certain age. He delivered a lot of the kids I knew growing up in the area. (And he's also my mom's Dr.)
I left the practice because I moved. I used to see Dr. Petraco and I really liked him. I saw Dr. Tufano once and she was very nice.
I'm sorry to hear that Dr. Edwards isn't delivering babies anymore. He was one of the good ones there. My mom has said that she really didn't like a lot of the Drs there.
