Re: ultrascreen
Mine took about 1 hour 15 min. including wait time.
First I had the ultrasound - which took 45 minutes because the baby didn't want to get in the right position and then I had blood drawn (about 1/2 vial) and then I was out of there :)
They said I will have the results in about a wekk

Re: ultrascreen
You should expect a sonogram where the tech/doctor will be doing measurements - specifically on the fold of the skin on the back of the neck. My baby was uncooperative so they took measurements and pointed things out to me as we were waiting for him.
Then I had blood drawn and that's it.

Re: ultrascreen
my ultrascreen was just an external sono. The baby cooperated so it didn't take long at all. (maybe 15 minutes.) I had a lot of blood taken about a week and a half before the sono so I got my results the same day as the sono. I know other people that had blood taken at the ultrascreen and got their results later.

Re: ultrascreen
Mine was done externally. As long as they can get everything they need I think they will do it externally.

Re: ultrascreen
Mine started out externally and the baby wasn't cooperating so they went internally, still not cooperating, so they went back to external and finally were able to get the info they needed

I had the same experience. It was a transabdominal u/s, which is a nice change from the internals!
