Very Sad
My mom and brother had to put their cat, Rufus, to sleep today. He was not that old but had long term kidney issus and they got bad again. I am so sad - I love Rufus - he was honestly the most lovable mushy cat I've ever met - I'm going to miss him. I'm scared his brother and partner in crime, Smokey, is now going to die of a broken heart.

I'm so sorry for you and your family's loss.
If Smokey seems sad without Rufus, in a month or two, maybe they should look into getting another cat companion for him.
