Spinoff to knowing about shower (poll)
How many of you know or knew about when your shower was? I know I will be having two showers, one which I already know about. I'm on the fence about whether to know anything about the other one. I know it will be relatively close to my due date so how surprised can I really be, but wondered if anyone had any pros/cons to knowing in advance.
Any thoughts? Did you want to know? Not want to know? Know but not want to know about details?

i wanted to know so i could look all pretty (i usually never wear makeup or do anything nice to my hair and i wear sweatpants everyday lol) but at the same time it probably would have been nice to surprised.

I really want to know. My bridal shower was a surprise--and seen has how I took my nephew to the park and was rolling around in the leaves with him, I showed up to my shower in an old hooded sweatshirt and jeans. I'd rather not repeat THAT experience.

i wanted to know - my bridal shower was a surprise, and not knowing how my hormones will be when i am 7 months pregnant  i wanted to know all about it. it's also a jack and jill shower, so there's less pressure on me.

I want it to be a surprise, but I don;t think I would have had a choice either...lol I loved being surprised for my bridal party.
I'll do the same thing that I did for my bridal shower.... Everytime I went out closer to the date, I dressed nice and did my makeup just in case!!

I wanted to know bc I wanted the opportunity to dress up and look nice since my body is all out of whack.
It was such a relief knowing. For my bridal shower - I could have found out so many times bc people were just careless , so it was more stressful trying to avoid finding out then just knowing
