Registry OVERLOAD!

I am in overload ladies. I need help. BADLY.

DH and I went to BRU tonight to start our registry there. We got a lot done but I have NO idea what to do for a stroller. I registered for a Snug Rider (Graco's snap and go) for the infant car seat and now can't figure out what stroller I should register for. I like the Chicco Cortina but HATE the colors BRU has. I never thought I would stress over this. Ok, maybe I did!Chat Icon

I need psychiatric help.

Re: Registry OVERLOAD!

I feel your pain. DH and I have been there two times to register - about two hours each time. We have like 10 things on the list. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon And this is with having gone a couple of other times before we started to register to look around!!! I'm tempted to just copy someone else's list.

Good thing we started early because it looks like we have a lot more trips there in front of us! Chat Icon

Re: Registry OVERLOAD!

I hear you! Between BRU and BBB I can't take it. I've been online for over 2 hours trying to decide what to change, delete, etc. I am nuts.

Re: Registry OVERLOAD!

We got our Chicco at BBB and ordered it through special order because they don't carry the color. They told us 8-12 weeks and it came in last week right on time. If you go to their website (or any other for that matter) BBB should be able to get any stroller you want for you.

If you need help, let me know. I am here for you.

Re: Registry OVERLOAD!

I am right there with ya. . I have changed everything on my registry a hundred times already... damn this internet, every time I have a thought, I change it.

Today was the 4 th time I changed my stroller. I finally went with the Graco Passage Travel System in Windsor. It has great reviews, it's lighter than most graco's and its a nice gender neutral shade of green..

Good luck :) and I do work for a psychiatric hospital if it comes down to that, I can help ya there too...lolChat Icon

Re: Registry OVERLOAD!

The Chicco Cortina that is in the store is not the only one they have. They have 2 others, but they aren't on the shelves because of a recall a few weeks ago. The store I went to told me that they should be back on the shelves within 2-3 weeks (that was a week ago). The other ones are much more attractive. You might want to wait till they come out so you can make a decision.

Re: Registry OVERLOAD!

We registered before we knew what we were having. We didn't put a lot on at the time but when I got home and went on line I started adding things like crazy. Then we found out we were having a boy and went back to BRU to add blue stuff and the registry went in major overload.

Then I started going onto friends registries that were having boys and seeing what they had to compare to my registry and I wound up adding more stuff to my own.

Everyday I was adding or deleting something.

Baby registry is a lot more fun then bridal registry Chat Icon

Re: Registry OVERLOAD!

It can be a stressful process, I added a lot of stuff online as I like to read the reviews. We didn't like any of the travel systems that BRU carried, the one I like was discontinued, so we found a pattern I like the Graco at BBB and registered there for the two things seperately the snug ride seat and the metrolight stroller in Platinum. Good luck!
