Question for all those who have had a MC in the past...

Did your Dr. do any additional tests or see you any sooner when you found out you were pregnant again?

I just found out on Wednesday that I am pregnant again and I am going to call my Dr. on Monday, but I just wanted to know what to expect (or what I should ask for).

Thank you in advance!

I did not have any tests, but am high-risk only because I'm having twins. M/C is very common, especially in the first tri, so unless you were much further along, they might not test you. Of course, you should feel free to request more monitoring if you are uncomfortable, but if you had an early m/c that they consider "normal", I would not worry, this is a completely different pregnancy.

Congratulations and best of luck!!

Only after 2 m/c's did my Dr see me any earlier than normal.

It was an "earlier" 1st tri mc. Thank you!

No, they did not want to see me sooner than they usually would. They said that it was not a worry. They treated it like any other pregnancy.

Mine saw me sooner to ease my own mind.
