am I shrinking???
My mom gave me a pair of Lane Bryant Jeans for Christmas..I always wear this kind..."average"
However, these were soooooo long..I had to get "petite".....
I asked the lady in the store about it and she says nothing has changed..I even tried different styles, and needed petite in all...I am 5-9...whats going on?

Maybe you just got a mismarked pair?
I would wash and dry them....in certain stores (like NY&Co), I need petite jeans in the store, but when I get them home and wash and dry, they're practically capris.
Does Lane Bryant have a Wash&Wear policy? I know GAP does, for 14 days.

5' 9" and you needed a petite?  the cut MUST have changed.
an associate from ann taylor and banana republic both told me that the cut of their dresses/skirts/and pants have changed and to buy a size smaller than i normally would wear. unless a negative size is available, it is going to impossible for me to find a size smaller than 0.
