Dumb Question - But I'm new to this .......
Just diagnorsed with PCOS. I'm on Metformin (NOT fun for my belly  ) and will be starting my first round of Clomid this cycle. -
I have to go for my CD3 bloodwork tomorrow AM, and she told me a sono .........?? Is this one of those oh so pleasant internal sonos? WHILE I have Aunt Flo ?? 
I"m not really sure what to expect.
You know how to think of all of those questions AFTER you leave the Dr's office ??
Edited: - I AM on Metformin b/c I'm insulin resistant. --- Don't know why I said I was not ........ ????

It will be internal. I have gotten pretty lucky with those as far as "flow" They also put a condom sort of thing on it so its not that bad. Good luck!

ETA: Obviously I can't wear the tampon for the sono, but can't I just put in a new one after it's over?

I suppose you can, but of course will have to remove it for the sono.

Ridiculous how the simplest thing can make me so anxious. Blood Test, sono ..........NOT like I haven't done these things before. Just not for THIS reason !!!

Yes it will be an internal, its really not so bad, even with AF. Personally, I think it would be easier to just wear a pad and then put in a tampon when you get home, but you should do what you are most comfortable with.
Have you been tested to see if you are insulin resistant?
ETA: sorry, just saw your update! Glad it went well. G/L with the clomid!
