Stupid Question
Can Ya'll give me some websites that tell me how far along I am in Months, trimesters.
AGAIN the lady here at my office is confusing me!
I am 28w1d
That means I'm done with 7months? but I'm 7 months and a day right???
so confused

Actually- you are pregnant for 40 weeks. Because each month can have anywhere between 30 and 31 days (Feb with 28/29), a month is roughly considered to have 4.3 weeks in it.
40 weeks divided by 4.3= 9.3 months.
At 28 weeks you are IN your 7th month.
It's a misconception that we are pregnant for 10 months.

See I figured 40w = 10months at 4w per month.. sooo how is it 9mths?
BUT 40th week (due date) would be the final week of your nine months since you've COMPLETED 40weeks, hence you are completely 9month preggos. Past your due date you are 9mths and x days (or past due).
So at 28weeks I think 28 divided by 4 = 7 so I think I've COMPLETED 7 months and Im now 7months and a day..
Hence I get all twisted around.

See my above post. Here's the deal:
4 weeks=4x7=28.
No month has 28 days (except for Feb, obviously).
Each month actually has 4.2 (30 days) or 4.3 (31) weeks in it.
I've always gone on the 4.3 weeks in a month.
get it now?
