Any suggestions
on how to make the hard lumps on my butt go away from the progesterone shots. ON both sides I have about a 2 inch patch where it is a big bump and red and black and blue.
I've tried icing but that only helps for a few minutes.
Today my work bag hit my butt and it HURT! Not to mention rolling over in bed is no picnic.
Any ideas...maybe alternating hot with cold?

Right after DH gives me the shot, I massage the area for a couple of minutes while I walk around. After that I use a heating pad for about 5 minutes, works like a charm for me. No lumps!

I 4th that (ok I don't know what that is called). But, I agree, no ice. And sometimes I use a loofah in the shower and massage it more the next morning. Seems to break it up some more. I also bought one of those micro wave heating pads at a health food store. It has Velcro so I can put it on my hip and strap it on and do stuff around the house. Good luck.

I also would put the progesterone in hot water before drawing to warm it up some.
