sore after sono
I had my ultrascreen yesterday and the sono tech was pushing down really hard on on my lower belly/pelvic area and today I'm feeling sore over there..is this normal????

yes...I have been sore after the sonos as well. I think it is their way of torture, as if we didn't have enough pain problems.

BTW I meant to shout out to you, I bought the vlassic zesty pickles, and they are AMAZINGLY Zesty and addictive!!!! It's soothing me in my pian right now

yes! i was sore the next day too. It hurt so bad during the sono.

mmmmmm I'm glad you like! I didn't get them this past weekend at the store (grrrr) but DH did stop in front of them and asked if I wanted more. Must have been a momentary lapse in thought, because I walked right past them!

I'm glad you posted this because I thought I was the only one who thought sonos hurt. They don't look like they hurt in the movies or on tv so I never expected they would, but it kills me!

I was sore also !! But its alot better than the first sono I had 10 yrs ago where they had to use a cathedar and fill me with fluids then do the sono

It definately was !! It was when I had a m/c and I was hemoraging(sp?) so they had to do an emergency sono and didnt have time for me to drink the 32 oz of fluids needed to use there sono machine back in the day

I am glad you posted this because I went for my level II yesterday and the baby fell asleep halfway thru and the tech kept pushing my stomach pretty roughly to wake the baby up, i kept feeling as if she was gonna hurt the poor baby... i hurt a little yesterday afterwards.

when I went for my level II the tech was pushing so hard that I was tensing my muscles. she told me to stop tensing bc she can't see anything, i was so pi$$ed I yelled at her and told her she was pushing way too hard . after that she was much more gentle. Sono's should not hurt and just by me yelling at her, I was much more comfortable. I really think these techs put way too much pressure, needlessly.
