swollen feet
Any suggestions for swollen feet? They've been swollen since Saturday and I'm not getting any relief. I have been trying to stay off them, elevate them, and even soaking them in cold water but nothing helps. They are starting to ache.

Mine too Someone told me to drink a ton of water so that you can get rid of the excess water in your body. Also, stay away from salty food.

Re: swollen feet
I've had swelling since 28 weeks!
Lay on your left side with your feet elevated higher than your heart. Should reduce the swelling tremendously! But it takes a couple of hours so rent a good movie.

Re: swollen feet
Unfortunately, there isn't much you can do. Mine have been swollen since the beginning of my 8th month. It may be due to the heat but just try to keep them elevated and drink a lot of water.

I've accepted that for the rest of my pregnancy, I am a Hobbit (without the hair, thank you very much). Not happy about it, but that is the way it is.

Re: swollen feet
My left foot has been swollen for 2 mnths now and the doc said to elevate them, drink lots of fluids, and that it might be the baby laying a certain way

Re: swollen feet
My feet and ankles have been swollen since Week 16! My OB told me that all I can do is drink a lot more water, don't eat salty foods, keep feet elevated as much as possible and wear comfy shoes that can expand. He also said that it's gonna get worse! Not sure if that's possible though...
