When would u make the appt for
Hey girls... Nurse said i should make an appt for a week from today for my first pregnancy scan. Should i make it for more the end of the week or the beginning? im 4w2d now.

I had my first appt. at 8.5 weeks - my Dr. won't see you before 8 weeks.
I know some ladies here went around 6 weeks, which can be borderline for seeing the hearbeat.

I would wait until 7 weeks.. since the odds of seeing much at 6 are a bit lower (some do, some don't)

I would wait until the 8 weeks.. if you go and don't see anything now you will be worried.

I agree, I didn't have my first sono until 8 weeks (Dr. wouldn't do one before that). I would try to wait a little while longer so you know that you will definitely see something. A week from today you will only be 5w2d, which seems super early for a sono to me.

I am going tomorrow and I will be 5 weeks 5 days. And then again when I am 8 weeks. And so on.
They said I can either wait until 8 weeks or come in now and I went with now.

Im actually seeing an RE so they want to see me in one week from today.
if i were you i would wait till the end of the week... i was able to see the bean at 5W5D, so maybe you will get lucky!

You will probably have more than one scan at your RE's office. You can make it for a week from now, give or take a day or so, but there won't be too much to see. At the appt. in the middle or your 6th week or so you can probably expect to see the heartbeat (the baby grows so much at this stage).

I had my 1st sono at exactly 6 weeks and saw the heartbeat, but I would actually wait a bit because it seems like everything (appointments, sonos etc.) is soooooo far in between when you go very early.

I went at 6w4d and saw the sac and heard the heartbeat...hopefully in the week you will see the same...but it gets more fun when you are further along and get to see more!!!
