Any experience with "currently not available"
I registered for a high chair and swing that both say "NEW" when you open it up (BRU). It also says "Only available online" and "temporarily not available" Is this because it's new? I called and they have no answers because they claim those items are ina different warehouse. UGH! Anyone have experience with this. I *think* my invites went out yesterday.

Re: Any experience with "currently not available"
they DO have a lot of stuff 'only available online'. I'm not sure what 'temp unavailable' means online, in stores, or both??? It's definitely concerning....
I strongly advise against registering for too much 'only online' stuff, becuase my one experience ordering from their website was I ended up phoning it in

Re: Any experience with "currently not available"
It is very frustrating. This was the case w/ the pack n play we registered for. Since we're having twins, not many fit two, so a friend recommended this one, only available online. Well, probably two days after I registered, it was "temporary unavailable online". finally, it came back, but a little too late - my shower is this Sat, so I doubt anyone will order it unless maybe someone who does not attend the shower and has it shipped to us. I was so annoyed about it. What made it worse was I went to Buy Buy Baby and they had like 20 on the shelf!!

The whole "temporarily unavailable" is really no big deal. Yes items do come from different warehouses and it just means that they're currently sold out. But no need to worry. It usually becomes available in a few days.
I've had this happen many times with items on my registery and sometimes the next day, it was fine. Sometimes it took a week. But everything became available at some point!

Thanks for the reassurance. I just wondered if since it was "new" if it wasn't available yet and if not WHY WOULD THEY PUT IT ON THE WEB SITE????? But I hope you are right. I'll keep checking.

Re: Any experience with "currently not available"
I hated that! Sometimes they would come back and other times they wouldn't. Who knows with a new item. If it isn't online only then I wouldn't worry too much. My guests wanted to be able to see all the items online, but nearly everyone bought in the store. So few items came from online only and people didn't like it when it was in-store only and they couldn't see the item/tell the price.

thanks...that's good to know that things won't always be so unpredictable.... I am still recovering from the recalled chicco bases and my discontinued carseat
