Just wonderful....one of my students has...
POISON OAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
His mom said, she thought that's what is was, and STILL SENT HIM IN!!!
I wiped down my entire classroom, and I'm sitting here in a panic waiting for the dr to call back....Why don't people think???

omg!! what a nice mom! I hope your student gets some of that poison oak on the toilet paper at home! That'll teach her!

I teach too and these kids come in with every thing under the sun. When they are sick and contagious, it isn't good for them, the other kids as well as the teachers. I cannot tell you how many colds I have had this year from my students that I ended up bringing home to my DH. I told him that when she is born and she is sick, we WILL stay home with her and we will NOT send her to day care or school when she is of school age. I cannot do that to children or her teachers. It bothers me to no end.

I know! I cannot believe the neglectfullness of parents! I'm so mad...they all know i'm pregnant...its just rude

I always keep DD home and it drives me nuts when other kids still go hacking there brains out ! And to send a child in with poison oak is just
