Have you ever had a violent dream?
I had a really graphic violent dream last night that mirrors a scene in the movie the Devil's Advocate. I just saw it the day before yesterday so I guess it was fresh in my mind.
But the people in the dream were people I KNOW. Both the murderer and the victim. And the murderer claimed to do it because I wanted them to. 
It's so damn unsettling and although I know what prompted the nightmare, I'm questioning why it was these specific people in the dream.
I feel really guilty somehow. I know it's weird. I just feel so strange about it.
Has this ever happened to anyone?

Yes, I have had those.. It's hard to stop thinking about it, especially since it is so fresh in your mind.

in a case like this, your subconscious mind probably just replayed the scene in the movie with people you knew because it was "easier" to do so (JMO). i can totally understand why it would be unsettling and upsetting (i've had them too) but i wouldn't look into it too much.

Yes.. its horrible. I hate those type of dreams.
but the flip side.. every have those  dreams about someone you know and then cant look them in the eye?

I also saw the Devil's advocate the other day
I totally feel the same, that the dreams are so upsetting, but I totally don't over think them. I acknowledge being upset, but I don't try to find the source of it out too much.
Stop THINKING so much!!

I was going to ask if I was the victim in the dream.  I feel a "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia" moment coming on.
For Greeny, . You should be glad you aren't pregnant. It magnifies every dream experience.  Next time, have a little hanky panky with DH before bed. Your dreams will be much more entertaining.

Oh yes. This happened to me not very long ago. I have known this guy for 5 years, never thought of him in that way. Then he appeared in my dream one night. We are all part of a group that has lunch every week. I couldn't look at him during lunch that week. Good thing that I got over that dream quick!!
