Hoping someone can help me

I did 37.5 iu of gonal-f last Monday through Friday. On Saturday, I went to the doctor (third time that week) and was told to do 75iu Saturday night and Sunday nights. Today, I went in AGAIN (for blood and sono), and my sono showed that the one follicle I had (that was 9mm on Saturday) was now 10.5mm today (which is improvement for me - I progress very slowly). I left there feeling hopeful, knowing I have to patient. I just checked my voicemail message and I was told to DECREASE to 37.5iu tonight and come back again tomorrow for blood only Chat Icon I HATE that I don't talk to a nurse, and get a message. Why do I have to go back tomorrow? Obviously it has something to do with my blood levels since they are only taking blood tomorrow and want me to decrease my dose of gonal-f. Could some of my levels be elevated when they shouldn't be? Has his happened to anyone else? I WISH that I spoke to the nurse so that I would know why they are making me come back again....Chat Icon

It's most likely because they want to monitor you VERY closely--- they did the same to me.
They may also be testing to if you'll respond on a lesser dose. My dr. did this to me last cycle- and found that when he decreased me from 175 down to 112.5 that I didn't respond at all and then bumped me up to 150 the next night and I responded VERY slightly. But each one of us is different and they're probably just being cautious since it's early on. Don't get nervous or think anything's wrong- question them tomorrow morning if it'll make you feel better. GL!!! Chat Icon
