ideas for police grad. gift?
My hubby is graduating from the police academy. I want to get him something - doesn't have to be anythign huge at all...... I can't think of anything!
He was already a cop in the city, so for that graduation I got him a St. Michael medallion.
Any ideas??

Sorry I don't have any ideas... BUT
if he was a city cop and is now working in another police dept- that should be GIFT ENOUGH! Good for him and congrats!
My DH would give ANYTHING to get out of the NYPD and on to another force!

YES, it is definitely gift enough - for him AND ME! I will sleep a littel easier now - he got into a great precint. Good luck to you!!! Hopefully your hubby will be able to get out to suffolk or nassau too.

How about something new he can use on the job? Like a new patrol bag or flashlight, etc. My DH likes to order things from Galls.

if your husband is graduating tonight... so is mine!!! My DH was a cop in the city too, lol. I wonder if they are in the same class.
I'm getting him a watch. he needs it and wants it.

The girl who is in the office next to me is married to a cop and suggests you buy him an off duty weapon.

Funny thing is- my hubby is hasn't eaten a donut in YEARS! I always joke with him that he is the ONLY cop I know who doesn't eat donuts!

When my brother graduated from NYPD academy we paid for his flashlight, boots and something else that I'm blanking on right now. My mom paid for his gun, and some of our other family members gave him gcs to the police store to help pay for uniforms and whatever he needed.
