How It's Made!!! I love this show but...
the episode tonight had me  
baby chicks
These poor little chicks! It's like chick Great Adventure but they can't get off the ride!

things are more humane at the hatchery that sells chickens as pets.
The chickens you saw there were commercial layers, all of those males will be destroyed & made into pet food.

My 5 1/2 year old loves that show...I'm glad we didn't watch this one. How terrible...those poor chicks are treated like they are just inanimate objects, not actual living beings.

Unfortunately that is how it is with animals that we raise for food. The way they are treated is inhumane and disgusting...that's why I am a vegetarian. I could not just turn a blind eye to this like most people do.

And this is why my baby BK only eats all natural food. I understand everything on his label and nothing is labeled "meal".
