More Meds confusion...

So, I spoke to my nurse on Monday and told her that my shipment did not contain any HCG or any Dexamethasone.

She sounded doubtful so I had to pull everything out of the bag and read it off to her and sure enough those 2 were missing.

So, she called in an order to the pharmacy.

Last night, the guy shows up with the delivery and the co-pay was huge. He hands off this giant bag. Not having a clue as to WTH is going on, I pay and take the bag...you guessed it - they shipped EVERYTHING over again but this time included the HCG and Dexamethasone.

WTH am I supposed to do with all these extra meds that I don't know if I'll need?? Not to mention that I've now paid 2 large co-pays...any advice? Can they be returned? Or do I just suck up the cost and donate the meds when I don't need them any more, which BTW, I was planning on doing anyway???

Call and let them know they made a mistake, they should send someone back to pick it up and refund you the co-pay.

yes, i agree with PP. If you call right away they should come and take them back, except for the one you needed.

Exactly...you shouldn't get stuck with both and especially paying for them both.

Duh. I mean seriously. I feel like there is just so much going on in my life that the simple, easy things - like call the pharmacy - don't even register in my brain!!!

Thank you all - I called them. They are sending someone tonight to pick up all the extra meds and then tomorrow they will issue me the credit. They apologized.

This whole process is so stressful it seems like little minor things become major in an instant!!!
