LIRR breaking news for those that use it...
The news just reported that all lines are suspended east of Jamaica. Hope you all get home okay.

Damm I just tried to call a co-worker who just left and I think he is already on the train. Bummer.

Here's the correct info from their site. There are some delays, but the only continuing suspensions are east of huntington.

Port Jefferson, Ronkonkoma, Oyster Bay and Hempstead Branch customers:
LIRR service on the Main Line east of Jamaica has been restored with 15-20 minute delays affecting Port Jefferson, Ronkonkoma, Oyster Bay and Hempstead branch trains. Service on the Main Line was suspended earlier because of a switch problem near Queens Village.
Port Jefferson Branch Customers east of Huntington:
LIRR service on the Port Jefferson Branch is suspended east of Huntington because of a power outage caused by work being performed in the area.
Customers for destinations east of Huntington will be provided limited bus service at Hicksville for stations Greenlawn through Port Jefferson.
Customers for destinations east of Huntington are also advised to consider taking alternate LIRR service, if possible, on the Ronkonkoma and Babylon/ Montauk branches and arrange for transportation.
