Question about UPS
I'm expecting a package today but dont have the tracking #. Can i call UPS and give them my address to see if there is, in fact, a package for me today? Or they cant do anything without the tracking?

honestly---without a tracking # it can be very difficult for them to track it over the phone like that.

I agree.
Is there any possibility of you getting a hold of that tracking number?
Do you know if the sender is requiring you sign for the package? A lot of times, they waive that and in that case, UPS will just drop off the package and leave it.
Also, if you're not home when they make the first delivery attempt, they will leave you a note saying when they will be coming back. If you miss them a second time, they will leave you another note letting you know you will need to pick it up at the local hub.
