Last night...
Ryan slept real good... 8:30-4:30.....
He's done this many times before and Im hoping it will become permanant REAL soon!
However last night he ate @ 4:30 and then wanted to play...He's NEVER done this before...it took me over an hour to get him to go back to bed....He wasnt fussy....but he was smiling and laughing (I was enjoying him so much..I was getting ready to just start my day )
What would cause this???? Do you think it was just a fluke thing?

Re: Last night...
It's possible it was a fluke. Infants change their sleeping habits all the time, so even if you think you have it figured out, you may not because they'll change. Some kids are early risers though. My friend's son is always up by 5AM. Sleeping 8:30-4:30 is a decent amount of sleep for his age and it just may be enough for him where he doesn't feel that he needs more once he's up.
You could try making sure you don't have any bright lights on and use a quiet, soothing voice to help minimize him thinking it may be time to get up.
