JC Penney Furniture

Has anyone ordered their nursery furniture from them? I found a set I like on there and was just curious about the quality. I have a lot of other furniture from them which I have been very happy with but I was looking for some other reviews.

My cousin ordered her set from JCP and is very happy w/ the quality. It's a beautfiul set.

Not sure about their nursery furniture but I too have a lot of furniture from them (my dining room set, kitchen table and chairs, and den sectional couch) and I've been happy with everything. I guess like their other furniture it's manufactured by them and not another company so they wouldn't have much info listed in the Baby Bargains book to get an idea of the quality. Maybe they have some info. on the dept. store furniture in the book, not sure. Anyway, good luck!!

i have the crib and hutch set called bella from there. Very happy with it, we were very happy with teh quality and price.

It's not time to order my baby furniture yet, but I will say that my dining room furniture is from JC Penney Home [table, 6 leather chairs and one chandelier] and the quality is great! I would recommend their furniture!!

A friend of mine has a Dutailier crib for her daughter, who is almost ready for a bed. She just had another baby and didn't want to buy another expensive crib so she got an inexpensive one at JCP for the new baby and will donate it once her older child goes in a bed. I tested them both at her house, pulling the rail up and down and shaking it slightly the way a large baby that can stand would. There was a huge difference in the quality, I ended up getting a Dutailier also. The JCP crib was shakier and the railing was not very smooth and I could see it waking a baby up once you've put them down and have to lift it (this is when they are larger and the mattress is down, for an infant you can lean over the rail without moving it). However, the JCP one was still safe and very good.

I bought my set from JCP.com and I am very happy with the quality. The prices are very fair for what you get. the draws all have dove tail construction. I was impressed. and they stand behind everything. I did not like a small dot on the front railing so they sent me another one. so now I have two. very happy

ps. my crib was about $350. I dont know much about the less expensive ones

I actually found my set there also, I have heard good things about their stuff, that is where I will be ordering from.
