BPA and pthalates-I had an epiphany...
sigh
so it's fairly obvious we should avoid these plastics for baby bottles.....
so, I just had a rather upsetting thought...
what about US?! we're preggo and are drinking bottled water / soda / juice from BPA/pthalate bottles, and eating food from containers that contain these chemicals. apparently, BPA also is used while sealing metal food containers.
so, pretty much EVERYTHING has these chems! what is it doing to our bodies, and our babies-within?
just something to think about

You are exactly right. I just bought a book called The Organic Pregnancy that discusses just this. Sad thing is its nearly impossible to avoid all these things unless you ONLY eat or drink at home

You can buy bottles for you that don't have BPA. We have Sigg bottles that we refill with water and take to the gym, work, etc.
We also never microwave any food in tupperware or any type of plastic, always put it on your dish first.
