How are my fellow April mommies doing?

I am cranky and very uncomfy. I feel like my skin is at maximum capacity. I felt this way w/DD#1 and she came 3 weeks early. Dare I think I could be that lucky again. I do have a c-section scheduled for the 18th, so at least I know that I won't be late!

at my 37 week appointment i was 1 cm dilated and the dr. said she could feel the baby's head in place.

Well, I am cranky and ready to go. I have finished work. My body barely moves anymore. I went walking through stores with my mom yesterday and she was like you are as slow as a turtle. The baby's head is low and I have dropped. I am just waiting now for the day.

I am 35 weeks. The baby dropped and is in position. The estimated weight is 5lbs. 11ozs. With the baby so low, it hurts a lot. I don't like moving or walking too much. The doctor said that the baby's head is putting pressure on my pelvis.

I thought I was uncomfortable sleeping before...now it's even worse trying to find a position where I can stay for even 2 hours! My baby's head is down and the docs can feel his head with no problem. I haven't dilated yet, but the OB is sure it's going to happen soon. I get to stop taking terbutaline tomorrow...can't wait!

At 37 weeks I am ready to be done!
I was 1.5 cm dilated at the 36 week appointment and her head is engaged. They didn't do an internal yesterday at my 37 week appointment so I don't know if I have progressed anymore.

I will be getting an u/s on Thursday so get an approximate on weight. I am hoping I don't make it to that appointment!

I'm hanging in there. I'm 37 weeks now. Went to the doctor yesterday and the baby's head is down, my cervix is soft but long and I'm 1 cm. The baby can come any time. I have a sonogram next week because they think the baby is measuring ahead of time. I'm so tempted to find out the sex.

I am 39 weeks tomorrow and soooooo done!! I go to the Dr. on Monday and hope that there is something going on (still not dilated) or that has dropped, but I truly think he is still having a party in my ribcage!

I'm 37 weeks. The baby's head is down and I'm 2 cm dilated. I've been having tons and tons of contractions that are getting pretty uncomfortable. And so much pressure down there! If DD doesn't arrive before then I'm scheduled to be induced on April 7. That means 16 days or less! I spent this week washing and organizing stuff, but the furniture is delayed, still not finished packing my bag or a bag for DS, have to get the car seat installed, move the chair from DS's room to DD's, buy a few more odds and ends that I need. The list goes on! I was so prepared for DS, but this time I have been procrastinating!

I am 36 weeks and done is not the word!!!!!!!! Had an appt on Thurs with nothing happening. Was sent to hospital b/c I wasn't feeling the baby that much but everything was fine. The said baby is 6 1/2 lbs already! I have a c-section scheduled for April 12th- 3 weeks from today

We also have so much to do. With being on bedrest since Dec 3rd I really haven't done much. We are so unprepared for the arrival of this baby and I feel so guilty b/c we were so ready for DS!!!!

I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow and have a doctor's appointment tonight. I really feel that I must be at least a little bit dilated by now. I've felt twangs of pain "down there" but I'm not sure what that means. I just CAN'T WAIT to have this baby already!

I am 38 weeks today and have an appointment tonight- I'm pretty sure nothing is going on though- nothing went on with DS until the last minute and then he never descended so I had a section.

C-section is scheduled for April 5th- still wondering if I want to try for a v-bac- can't make up my mind. This is my last week of work and then I have a week to just be with DS!!

Hello fellow April mommies!

I am 35 weeks today and as of my last appt on Thursday is still breech. If he doesn't turn by the 37th week, dr. is going to schedule a c-section for the 39th week. I'm crossing my fingers that he turns by then!!!

Dh and I spent the entire weekend setting up all the baby stuff (papasan swing, PNP, boucer, stroller, etc.) and cleared out the nursery so in anticipation of the furniture delivery. We are still waiting for the glider to come in!

All I can say is that I'm exhausted and done!! I feel huge. I waddle at an incredulously slow speed and my hands and feet are so swollen that they hurt!!

I just can't wait for to come already!!!

Hi April Mommies,
I am 36w and getting less comfortable by the day. I keep saying that I am going to work up until the very end, but I just hope my body lets me b/c now I am not so sure. I have my 1st internal tomorrow so wish me luck!

The baby's room is not ready and everything from my shower is scattered on the first floor so the house looks like a war zone. Good times.

Time to pack the hospital bag, but I will have to do some shopping for that first.

I'm due April 16, so I'll be 37 weeks this week.

I had a really bad cold and sore throat last week and missed 2 1/2 days of work (grrrr). I'm feeling better, but that cold really took a lot out of me.

I have decided the best place for me to sleep is our black leather couch in the living room. It is where I can get 5-6 hours of straight sleep and not be uncomfortable or wake up in pain. I hate not being in bed with DH, but I have to do what's best.

My first internal is today. I walk funny, I feel huge and I just feel kind of blah at this point.

DH and I are anxiously waiting to meet our and the grandparents to be and the rest of our families and all our friends are really excited.

Baby's furniture is still not in yet! So, I'm annoyed and upset with Behr's at this point, but I hopefully have 3-4 more weeks, so we'll hope for the best. We'll make do with the PNP if we have to.

I started washing the baby's clothes, blankets, bibs, etc. My hospital bag is packed and ready to go!

Just got back from my 36 week appointment. is in position. Dr. said he could feel the head and I am 1 centimeter dialated.

Feeling ok for the most part. Tired, a little crampy and minor backpain but so far I am lucky not to be feeling miserable.

38 weeks and 3 cm dilated. Maybe the baby will come a little early, or so we hope.

At over 39 weeks I am still only one centimeter and so anxious to meet already. I can't believe I am #2 on the expecting list. Are there any other April Mommies left? I have a feeling I might become a May mommy...
