Anyone see Gone Baby, Gone? *Possible Spoilers*
We rented it last night. I really liked it and was surprised it was so good.
I am curious to get other's opinions on it....

I did with another LIF'er when it was out in the theatres back in November. We were both crying at the end, and still couldn't decide what we would do in that situation.

I thought it was a great movie.
I cried a lot at the end. Wouldn't want to be in his shoes to have to make that decision.
You may want to put "spoiler" in the title.

Yes, the ending was very emotional.

I was a little torn in the end too. I thought that he was making the right choice b/c I thought that the mother would change when she got her baby back.
Then in the last scene, the little girl was just sitting on the couch all alone and being left with someone while the mother went out. So, from what you can tell, she didn't change much.

Same here...I thought it was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. Casey Affleck was amazing and the storyline was both shocking and moving. I would have done the opposite in the end.

As soon as he realized that the mother didn't even get the dolls name right he knew he did the wrong thing. I felt so bad for him and the little girl at that point.

I loved that movie.
I have no idea what I would've done! First I felt he did the right thing, but, then I was unsure after the last scene.
He should've called CPS for an investigation. (wouldn't an investigation have been done anyway though, IRL, when the whole truth came out?)
