WHERE do you get the carseat inspected?

WHERE do you get the carseat inspected?
DH and I are going to install the carseat bases this weekend. Where do we get it checked to make sure we did it right? I know people say firehouse, police, etc... but specifically where? Any firehouse?  We live in Centereach.

My mom and I were just talking about this while I was driving to work! You can go to any firehouse and they will inspect it and install it properly into your car too! I no longer love in LI anymore, so Im not sure of a specific firehouse for you, but any firehouse will do this for you! Goodluck!

I would call over to your local firehouse in Centereach and ask if they do the car seat inspections, if not then call over to your local police precinct and ask if they can help you.
