How far along were you when you first had heartburn?
I think this may be another new symptom I'm developing.

Like 20 weeks, it got really bad at 30 weeks. It wakes me up at night, its horrible!

Instantly. From the day I found out, I've had horrible heartburn. I had acupuncture done to help because I couldn't stand it. Tums, Mylanta nothing helped.

I've had it on and off throughout the whole pregnancy.
But as of the last couple of weeks I've noticed certain foods always give me heartburn so I stay away from them.

Unfortunately I had it long before I conceived but I noticed that my medication was not working as well as it usually does right after I conceived.

18 weeks for me. Zantac is my savior. I don't take it everyday but I take it when I feel "questionable".

I feel like I was born with it... nothing OTC has worked for me nor has using a pillow wedge, so I'm just happy to know the end is near. Sometimes Maalox helps a little in addition to Tums - Zantac kept me up all night. I wake up at night with it too. I sit up for a while or walk around the house to try to get myself burping. It's a pain in the booty!

i had acid reflux and was on meds before preg but i was fine up until like 17wks i guess....i actually have it now and its driving me nuts....tums here i come
