Has this happend to anyone else????
Okay so I was pregant in May and I lost the baby in July. Then i got pregant again this past November and again I lost this one in March. The reasoning to this was Genetic. My baby boy was suppose to have 46 chromosones and had an extra set which was 69 total... It happened both times. I have to go for Genetic Counseling and tests on May 3rd.... Has this happened to anyone or do you know of anyone this happend to..

I had a partial molar pregnancy which involves some other complications coupled with a triploidy fetus (69 chromosomes). I had to be closely monitored for almost a year and was not allowed to get pregnant again. That was a long road but I am now 20 weeks pregnant and everything seems perfect so far.
I suppose you will have to find out if it is a random thing that happened to you twice, which I don't understand. The chances of a PMP are 1 in 1500 but after you have one they are 1 in 100 so how is that a "fluke" which they like to call it....or if your eggs are carrying 2 sets of chromosomes...or if your egg let in 2 spermies. Do you know the makeup of the two babies lost? For instance, mine was an XXX. It would have to be at least 2 x's for it to be possible that it's your egg.
I am so sorry for what you are going through but at least they did pathology and have answers for you so you can straighten everything out right away. If you ever need to talk feel free to FM me.

I am so sorry for your losses. We had the same thing 69 chromosomes with a boy November 2005. It was called Triploidy. I wasn't told it was genetic in the sense that he or I caused it...she said it was a total fluke of nature of the cells coming together. I was only told to wait the standard time (3 months) to start trying again and got pregnant with my DD exactly 3 months after.
She said that was not likely to happen again - a total fluke.
Again, I'm sorry for your loss.
