does anyone have part time help?
I am considering getting a nanny one day a week even though I am a SAHM.
I do have a business I run from home that is getting ignored right now, in addition I have a to do list as long as my leg at all times...I feel like I can really use the help to get my "other" stuff in order.
Does anyone have someone they use part time? Any recommendations - words of wisdom?

I don't right now, but am considering it. I work from home my boss said he would cover the expense - I would either do two days a week for 4 hrs each day or find a playgroup or sitter where he can interact with other kids. Aidan is 18 months though.

Re: does anyone have part time help?
No but DH has mentioned it. I do have someone come in and clean every other week. I just feel like on her bad days (which at this point outweigh the good days) I can't get anything done and that adds more stress.
My mom offers to help but I feel wierd having her come help with laundry and such and I am just wierd about her and the baby ( I have no idea why) but I'm going back to work 2 nights a week in Feb. so I need to get used to the idea.

Re: does anyone have part time help?
I have help, my MIL lives with us (her own apt) and she is a big help. She does all my ironing, cooks dinner usually 1 or 2 a week and will watch the baby if I need to run out quickly. I really don't know what I would do without her. I think I would definitely have a cleaning lady or a babysitter once a week to give me a break. I am also a SAHM and its a lot of work to do everything alone. DH works crazy hours, I never see him Mon- Fri. This past week he has left the house at 7am and come home at 12am. It's crazy!!!

Re: does anyone have part time help?
Here is an idea if you dont want someone all day. What if you get a high school girl or a college girl in the afternoons. A H.S. girl can come about 3PM and stay until like 7 so you can get a few hours to yoursef. I dont know just a suggestion.

Re: does anyone have part time help?
This gives me an idea sort of...
We definately need more money -- since we're moving out of my FIL's house in a few weeks.
I do work 5days/week, and want to spend all weekend with Emily -- but could anyone use me on a weekend day? Saturday and Sunday if Emily could come along?
I don't know if it's a ridiculous idea or not ... but it was just a thought...
